Damien HAUTIN

Damien is a tax lawyer registered with the Paris Bar and has more than 20 years of experience advising clients on corporate tax issues, M&A tax due diligence and structuring, and private equity tax matters. He also has significant experience advising business owners, senior executives and high net worth individuals on their tax affairs. In addition, he regularly assists clients in connection with complex tax audits and tax litigation. Having practiced taxation during roughly seven years as in-house tax counsel in MNCs, Damien is fully aware of the companies’ expectations and constraints and has a deep knowledge of international tax matters as he worked several years in Canada.

Damien holds the Master 221 Business taxation and the Master of Accounting and Financial Sciences and Techniques (M.S.T.C.F) of the University Paris-Dauphine, the Diplôme d’Études Supérieures Comptables et Financières (D.E.S.C.F) and a Master in law-Taxation Option (LL.M) of HEC-Montreal and Law Faculty of the University of Montreal (Canada).

Before joining Altaïr in 2020, Damien was partner during seven years at the tax law firm LightHouse LHLF after having spent six years at PwC Tax & Legal; prior to these experiences, Damien worked as an in-house tax counsel successively in the tax department of EADS and Bristol-Myers Squibb in France, and of QuebecorWorld in Canada.
