Altaïr Avocats advised Orus Energy, an energy flexibility platform, during its €2.2 million (seed) fundraising. This operation marks a turning point for Orus Energy, which aims to decarbonize electrical grids by transforming buildings into giant thermal batteries. Founded in 2023, the company seeks to free up 6 gigawatts of flexible power in France by 2030.

Orus Energy is a platform that revolutionizes the interaction between commercial buildings and the electricity market by optimizing energy flexibility. The software developed by the company allows for dynamic and intelligent management of energy consumption, providing an alternative solution to reduce dependence on fossil fuels.

Launched less than a year ago, Orus Energy has quickly demonstrated exceptional dynamism, with over 1 million square meters registered on its platform and deployments in key buildings, including IKEA and La Poste Immobilier.

The fundraising was led by b2venture, a European venture capital fund, and Asterion, a French early-stage impact fund, with the participation of Ring Capital. Industrial investors such as Pierre Trémolières (Accenta.ai) and Myriam Maestroni (e5t) also participated in this round.

These funds will be used to accelerate the development of new features and to structure the company's core team, which is expected to reach 20 people by the end of 2025.
