Altaïr Avocats supported lead investor VisVires New Protein in raising €11m for French start-up Toopi Organics alongside European impact funds, BNP Développement and existing investors.

Founded in 2019 by Michael Roes, Toopi Organics is a biotech start-up based in Gironde. Its main expertise lies in the collection and transformation of human urine into microbial biostimulant for use in agriculture.

This financing will enable the company to consolidate its presence in the agricultural market on a European scale and promote its industrial and commercial expansion in France and Belgium.
