Altaïr Avocats has advised entrepreneur Cédric Baümer and the Astem Digital group, a leading distributor of innovative products for oral health professionals, on the acquisition of Deep Company, a manufacturer of aligners and dental implants founded in 2019.

Astem Digital, founded in 2013 by Cédric Mariotte in Avignon, specializes in supplying innovative products to the dental industry. The acquisition of Deep Company, completed at the beginning of March, saw the participation of entrepreneur-investor Cédric Baümer, who will now take on the role of co-managing director alongside Frédéric Tridon.

Based in Janneyrias in the Nord-Isère region, Deep Company has rapidly established itself as a benchmark in the manufacture of high-end dental solutions, with a strong emphasis on "made in France". The company, headed by Frédéric Tridon and founded by David Piza, employs 24 people.

This strategic operation will enable Astem Digital to strengthen its presence on the French market and accelerate its growth. The synergy between the two companies aims to increase the group's combined sales from €18 million to €50 million over the next five years, while planning to expand their team to 60 employees by the end of 2024.
