Altaïr Avocats has advised Transports Veynat, the French leader in the transport of liquid foodstuffs, on the acquisition of Transports Klein, a key operation which underlines Transports Veynat's ambition to increase its influence not only on a national scale, in the Grand Est region, but also internationally, with an eye on Europe.

The acquisition of Transports Klein, based in Sélestat, Bas-Rhin (sales €10 million, 100 vehicles and 56 employees) by Transports Veynat (sales €196 million, 1,250 vehicles and 1,165 employees) is part of a strategy of territorial development, particularly in the Grand Est region, and marks Transport Veynat's ambition to expand internationally by opening up new growth prospects in Germany and Switzerland.

This acquisition is part of a pre-existing collaboration and synergy between the two entities, which share many customers and a common vision of service. Both companies affirm that the Transports Klein brand will continue to exist within the Veynat group, respecting its heritage and local roots.
