Altaïr Avocats is pleased to welcome Valérie Foudriat-Fernandez as a partner in Corporate - M&A and Capital Markets. Her arrival marks a key step in the firm's territorial expansion strategy, particularly with the opening of a new office in Marseille, which she will lead. This new location, following Paris and Bordeaux, strengthens Altaïr Avocats' national presence and enhances its international practice.

With diverse experience gained both in-house and in private practice, Valérie Foudriat-Fernandez joins Altaïr Avocats as a Partner and will be responsible for creating, developing, and managing the new Marseille office. Valérie’s arrival is accompanied by her two associates, Yamina Dahmani and Chuanjuan Chuang, who previously worked with her at Racine Marseille.

Valérie Foudriat-Fernandez began her career as a legal advisor in the legal departments of large listed international companies before joining the Marseille Bar in 2013. She holds a DEA in Business Law from the Aix-en-Provence Institute of Business Law (2000) and a DESS-DJCE from the University of Cergy-Pontoise (1999).

Her professional career led her to Gemplus (now Gemalto) as a legal advisor (2000-2004), followed by a position at Areva (now Orano) as Legal Counsel/Project Counsel for ITER (2004-2007). She later joined Cybernetix - part of the Technip Group - as Legal Director and a member of the Executive Committee (2007-2012).

In 2013, she made a significant career shift by founding her own firm, HVB Partners, before embarking on a new venture as a Partner at Racine Marseille, where she led the Corporate – M&A department for seven years.

Valérie specializes in corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, securities law, and contract law. She advises her clients, both listed and unlisted, managing the corporate and contractual aspects of their transactions, both in France and internationally. Valérie also has specific expertise in the Energy, Oil & Gas, and Industrial sectors, which has led her to handle complex cases, particularly in China and Africa.
